Rebecca Korejko
Dancing since the age of three, Miss Becca has locally trained and competed in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical and musical theater. She performed and choreographed for her high school, college and community theater groups. Her high school years included membership as dance captain in the elite performance choir at Sterling High School as well as captain of the color guard. In College, Becca majored in business and minored in dance while performing with the Dance program at Camden County College. Her extended dance training includes master classes in Atlantic City, Disney World and New York City as well as performing up and down the east coast. More recently, she choreographed for the Star Catchers Musical Theater Youth Program. With a license in Cosmetology, Becca is able to not only create a dance with movement but bring a piece to life from head to toe. Becca began teaching at Kathy’s Dancenter in 2005 and worked with Kathy for almost 2 decades. Now Miss Becca is thrilled to be able to take her love for dance and the experience she has gained working with Miss Kathy to the next level. Together with her best friend and co-worker of 20+ years, Becca is happy to be able to continue the traditions of Kathy’s Dancenter while being part of the amazing future our dancers have ahead of them.

Andrea Walk
Miss Andrea fell in love with dance at age 4 while attending her first ballet class. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, and hip hop at local studios, dance conventions, college classes and master classes all over the new england area. Miss Andrea has performed and choreographed in numerous venues including recitals, dance competitions, musicals, parades, theme parks, community events, senior centers, pageants and college showcases. Miss Andrea’s choreography at several dance competitions has earned high scores and special awards for “Storytelling”, “Emotional Execution”, “Technique”, “Choreography” as well as many others. Andrea taught at the original Kathy’s Dancenter for 23 years and is excited to have the oportunity to start this new chapter as co-owner/artistic director with her long time friend. Miss Andrea says dance taught her to be disciplined, work hard and appreciate the body and what it is capable of. Her favorite quote: “Think of the magic of the foot, comparatively small, upon which your whole weight rests. It’s a miracle, and dance is the celebration of that miracle”

Taylor Jentsch
Miss Taylor started dancing at KDC at the age of 4. She has taken classes in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, and Lyrical. She has taken master classes with the Philadelphia Ballet, and a class with a former Eagles Cheerleader. She has taken part in many KDC performances as well, including performances at Six Flags Great Adventure, Philadelphia Flyers game, Philadelphia Wings game, and Harlem Globetrotters events. She was part of the KDC company from 2015 to 2026. She is also currently studying to become a Physical Therapist, and plans to use her knowledge and love of dance to help others.

Amanda Kasprack
Miss Amanda started dancing at KDC at the age of 4 and has been teaching since 2017. She is educated
in various genres including Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, and Ballet. She has taken classes at Koresh in
Philadelphia and has been a part of the KDC company as dance captain and now teacher. Miss Amanda
has experience competing as a member of KDC in the Step Up 2 Dance Competition and has received
titles such as Elite Gold. Before becoming a teacher at KDC, Miss Amanda was an assistant teacher for 6
years. She is currently in the process of getting her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling.

Nicole Porter
"Hi! I'm Miss Nikki. I have been dancing at KDC for 25 years and I have been teaching for 16!! My dance training includes Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, and Hip-Hop. I also studied Dance at Rowan University, taken several classes at Koresh Dance Company in Philadelphia, and remain an active member of the UCTT Philly Tap company for over 10 years. Aside from dance, I am a Licensed Occupational Therapist with a Master's Degree in Education in Human Sexuality and currently working towards my PhD. I am also training as a Pelvic health specialist, have background training in Martial Arts, and will own a cat cafe some day. While my interests and aspirations span several disciplines, my love and devotion to dance has been and will always be a constant. I'm so blessed to be an instructor and family member at Kore Dance Center!”

Makayla Powell
Miss Makayla's love for dance began at age 3 in Intro Dance at Kathy's Dancenter. She has continued studying dance ever since, taking classes in hip-hop, lyrical, and ballet. Prior to joining the staff, Miss Makayla assisted in hip-hop and intro classes as well as being dance captain of the KDC company. She has performed at a variety of venues including the Wells Fargo Center, Sixflags Great Adventure, and local parades and community events. Miss Makayla is loves sharing her passion for dance with her students at KDC.

JeanAnne Principato
Dance has been a driving force in JeanAnne’s life since childhood. She performed with the nationally renowned dance company, WAVES founded by Shimon Braun. During her time with WAVES, she was Dance Captain of the company as well as Assistant Choreographer. JeanAnne was also owner and choreographer of JazzWorks Dance Studio in Philadelphia, PA. Other teaching credits include WAVES, Pennsylvania Ballet, Bryn Mawr College, College of the Performing Arts, master classes for Dance Masters and International Teachers of Dance Inc. She was also a teacher for 30+ years at Kathy’s Dancenter. JeanAnne is excited to be back, working for Miss Becca and Miss Andrea at Kore!

Alyssa Strauss
Alyssa is KDC Company captain at Kore Dance Center. When she’s not at dance, she is the President of her class at Sterling High School. Alyssa has been dancing since she was about 3, starting off with ballet and tap. Alyssa has danced many different styles over the years, including lyrical, jazz, and hip hop. Alyssa currently takes pointe, lyrical, and hiphop while leading our competition team. Her favorite style to perform is lyrical. Ever since she started dancing, Alyssa knew she wanted to pursue it in her future. She plans on continuing to dance in college as well. Kore Dance Center has brought Alyssa not only amazing new skills and opportunities, but lifelong friendships.

Emily Winters
Miss Emily started dancing at Kathy’s Dancenter when she was four years old. She studied ballet, pointe, jazz & tap. Emily is from Laurel Springs, New Jersey and graduated Rutgers Camden University with her Master’s degree in History in 2023. During the day, she works at Carpenter’s Hall, a museum & historic site in Philadelphia. Miss Emily has recently published a book of poetry, & enjoys playing violin, piano, and guitar. Miss Emily has been teaching tap for two years, and is looking forward to returning to the world of jazz and supporting Kore in the fall!
